Management of Perimenopause & Menopause

At Simply Women, we are a boutique medical practice made up of GPs with a special interest in women’s health, alongside experienced gynaecologists. A significant part of our work is dedicated to the management of perimenopause and menopause. All of our clinicians are experienced members of the Australasian Menopause Society (AMS).

Introducing our Menopause Team

Perimenopause and menopause can bring significant physical and emotional changes for you and those around you.

Our experienced menopause team is here to make this transition clearer and more manageable, offering safe, evidence-based hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options tailored to your needs. We focus not only on symptom management but also on preventative health and long-term wellbeing through your 40s, 50s, and beyond.

We are pleased to offer ongoing perimenopause and menopause support, working collaboratively with you and providing regular updates to your GP to ensure coordinated, continuous care.

We offer comprehensive assessments to understand how this hormonal transition is impacting your daily life. Based on your individual needs, we tailor a personalised management plan that may include TGA-approved body-identical hormone therapy, as well as other hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options.

Our care doesn’t stop at the initial consultation. We follow up with you after 6–8 weeks to review your progress and make any necessary adjustments. Once your symptoms are well managed, we recommend annual reviews to ensure your treatment remains optimal over time.

One of the key advantages of being cared for at Simply Women is the collaborative nature of our team. For more complex cases, we discuss your care amongst our experienced clinicians to reach a consensus on the best path forward, ensuring you benefit from a wealth of collective expertise.

We look forward to supporting you through this sometimes daunting transition and helping you feel like yourself again.
